Many tenders will ask you to provide CVs for the key personnel that will be responsible for delivering the service or project. A good CV will present strong evidence of experience and expertise that is relevant to the buyer. The goal is to demonstrate that this person is ideally positioned to support the service delivery.
Remember that every person’s CV must be in the same format and be of a similar length.
Length and format requirements will vary from one tender to another, but is generally from 1 to 2 pages. It is recommended that you compile a 2 page CV initially, and then edit as required.
- Content to include: qualifications, names of clients, roles and responsibilities undertaken for clients, measurable outcomes, specific achievements, demonstrable value to the client.
- Content to exclude: hobbies, irrelevant qualifications or achievements, work for other clients that is of no relevance to this tender.
